Are you interested in helping people living with dementia and their carers get some fresh air and exercise?
We want to start short walks from the Dereham Leisure Centre and Doctors' surgeries in Great Yarmouth on a weekly basis and are offering Walk Leader Training to enable volunteers to gain the skills needed to lead walks under the national Walking for Health scheme.
If interested please contact Mel Brown at firstname.lastname@example.org for a booking form. On top of this training you will then receive training from Dementia Adventure to gain the skills needed to engage with this particular group.
Training is in Dereham on Monday May 15th from 1-5pm at the Dereham Leisure Centre, Station Rd, NR191DF.
Training is in Beccles on Friday 26th May from 1- 5pm at Beccles House, 1 Common lane, North Beccles, NR34 9BN.
All courses are offered free of charge. For more information contact Mel on 07766259999. Booking is essential.
