Disability Contacts

Useful Disability Contacts

We’ve pulled together a list of useful disability contacts, so you know who to get in touch with. The National Governing Bodies (NGBs) are listed as well as the National Disability Sports Organisations (NDSO’s). There’s also a link to the Activity Alliance as they have excellent advice on accessibility in sport.

If you’re looking for a contact not listed below, or need any further help, please do not hesitate to get in touch with Active Norfolk directly at the bottom of the page so we can assist.

NGBs can be contacted with requests for accessibility in sport, or general queries relating to your club or team. They can also advise on the latest guidance surrounding your sport and Coronavirus.

The main NDSOs are: British Blind Sport, Cerebral Palsy Sport, Dwarf Sports Association UK, LimbPower, Special Olympics Great Britain, UK Deaf Sport and WheelPower. You can find their individual contact details above. If you are looking for someone else and can’t find them, get in touch. We’ll be happy to help.

One of the main disability contacts we recommend getting in touch with is Activity Alliance. Previously known as the English Federation of Disability Sport (EFDS), Activity Alliance work hard to make activity accessible to everyone.

As a result, they have hundreds of resources that could help you get started on your active journey.
