Level 2 Emergency First Aid At Work
Basic First Aid qualification of 6 hours provided over two evenings (6.30 – 9.30pm) . Candidates MUST therefore be able to attend both evenings sessions on 19th & 26th April.
This 6 hour First Aid course is recommended for anyone that is required to hold a basic level First Aid qualification as stipulated by National Governing Bodies or employers such as coaches and designated first aiders.
A range of subjects is covered using sporting scenarios and includes: Responsibilities and reporting, Resuscitation, Assessment of the situation, Heart attacks, Choking, Basic hygiene in First Aid, Bleeding control, Shock, Dealing with an unresponsive casualty, Minor injuries, Seizures.
The course has been designed to include sport-specific incidents and on completion, candidates will receive a 3 year Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work qualification. Please bring some photo ID to the first session.
nb: If you a working towards a coaching qualification please consult with your National Governing Body of Sport to ensure which First Aid Course workshop is most suitable.
