Memory Walks

These walks are an initiative to offer people with dementia, and their families, the chance to get outside more and to enjoy the local Norfolk area and trails. Active Norfolk and the charity, North Norfolk Fit Together, has given a group of their skilled volunteer walks leaders training to help improve the lives of people living with dementia and their carers. These walks run from May to August each year.

Secretary wanted:

Due to heavier demands on her time and increasing levels of commitments, at the trustees meeting on Tuesday 29th August Brenda Stibbons resigned from her position as a Trustee and Secretary to NNFT. The Trustees were profuse in their appreciation for all that Brenda has done for NNFT over the years and in their thanks for what she has achieved as part of NNFT. Thankfully we will continue to see Brenda as she will remain as a Walk Leader and will contribute where she can to our fundraising events.

We are therefore looking for someone to fill Brenda's shoes. The main duties to be undertaken would be to prepare and circulate an Agenda for each meeting (about 5 or 6 times a year), take the minutes at each meeting, load the minutes onto Dropbox once the minutes have been agreed and signed off, and to undertake various administrative duties if required. If you feel you would like to and could contribute to NNFT in the above way then please let our Chairman, John Tomlinson, know in writing by the closing date Friday 23rd February. If you have any questions about the role then do not hesitate to contact him. All expressions of interest will be considered and the position will be filled based on appropriate skills and experience. (Please see the below for John's contact details).
