BRAND NEW: Our Impact Report for 2024-2025 is out now! See what we’ve been working on over the previous year.

Fantastic prizes up for grabs with HOT SHOTS

The Norfolk School Games Active Week (21st June 2021) is a week-long focus on getting children more active. This is so they may hit their daily target of 60 minutes of activity, and in doing so reap the benefits of a more physically active lifestyle. This year, we’re encouraging kids across Norfolk to be HOT SHOTS, in order to be in with the chance of winning some great prizes.

With the brand new HOT SHOTS programme, kids can win some fantastic prizes this Active Week. They can do this simply by being more active at School, Home, Outdoors and when they Travel. By filling in the HOT SHOTS activity tracker and letting us know what they did during active week, they’ll be entered into a prize draw.

There are some fantastic prizes up for grabs including goodybag bundles and a £50 voucher.

What is Active Week?

Active Week is a week of fun events, aimed to get children moving. After a year of being stuck inside, we want as many people as possible to take part, and win some prizes. This year, Active Week will run from the 21 – 25 June, with the week’s events ending in a virtual colour run on 25 June, which you can take part in no matter where you are. Simply grab some colourful clothes and go for a walk or a run to join in.

Plus, schools in Norfolk could be visited by the Norfolk School Games mascot bear this Active Week! Click here for more details.

What is HOT SHOTS?

HOT SHOTS is a part of the Norfolk School Games Active Week. By being more active at school, home, outdoors and when they travel, and filling in the activity tracker to let us know, children will be entered into a prize draw.

Being more active can mean anything. Walking to school, or going for a longer dog walk than usual are both ways of being more active. As the weather has been so nice, why not head to the park for a game of rounders? For more ideas on how they could get more active, click here.

How can my child take part?

To find out more information about how your child can take part, visit the Norfolk School Games Active Week page by clicking the button below.

Primary school students can download and fill in the Activity Tracker on the page to take part. Secondary school students are being invited to fill in a short survey asking about their Active Week experiences. Plus, schools who take part could also win a £250 equipment voucher.

Remember, you have to be in it to win it, so don’t miss out.
