All to Play For

All to Play For: The socially inclusive football programme for men

All To Play For is a free weekly football programme for men aged 18+ struggling with poor mental health.

The socially inclusive programme, which has made a significant and positive impact on the lives of participants, is free and is held in various locations across Norfolk.

The drop-in sessions are open to all men aged 18+, with a particular focus on helping those who may be struggling with their wellbeing through encouraging social connection, physical activity and offering support routes.

At most sessions, mental health professionals and local support services are present to offer assistance and guidance for those who want to access it.
Watch how All To Play For has helped men across Norfolk improve their wellbeing and build new friendships. Attending the sessions completely changed my life. I've made new mates, and feel so much more confident. - Nathan, participant Hear from participants

The All To Play For idea was conceived in 2017 by Active Norfolk and Norfolk and Suffolk Foundation Trust (NSFT). This programme would offer free football drop-in sessions for men with poor mental health, whilst offering attendees access to vital support services they may not have been aware of.

Since then, the impact All To Play For has made on participants’ lives has been significant, with nearly all participants reporting an upturn in personal confidence which has, in many cases, led to other positive lifestyle changes.
Impact highlights of All To Play For £94,000 invested in the programme to date. 517 participants have taken part in the All To Play for programme. 16 providers engaged across the county. View the latest impact report
