Work Programme: Active Lives Survey

IMPACT REPORT 2025-26 Find out more about the Children's Active Lives Survey Embedding physical activity at a young age

The Active Lives Survey continues to be a key tool for understanding the physical activity experiences of children and young people across Norfolk, providing data and insights that help shape local priorities and interventions.

The Active Lives Survey engaged thousands of pupils, parents and carers across Norfolk, providing schools with valuable insight into physical activity behaviours, attitudes and barriers. The findings have helped inform school planning, identify areas for targeted support and shape interventions that respond to local need.

By establishing a clearer understanding of the factors influencing activity levels, the survey continues to support evidence-based decision making and drive action to help more children and young people lead active, healthy lives.
