Big Norfolk Holiday Fun (BNHF) is a programme designed to help children and young people in Norfolk get active and have fun over the holidays. The programme is Norfolk’s response to the Holiday Activities and Food programme.
For the past few years, we have been recruiting local activity providers to get involved and make a difference to the lives of children who could benefit most. Now, we work with over 130 providers in Norfolk to offer over hundreds of activities across the county for children and young people.

Become a Big Norfolk Holiday Fun provider
We’re always looking for passionate and committed providers to help deliver high-quality services in our community. We are committed to continuous improvement, listening to feedback and ensuring that we are providing the best value for money as a publicly funded programme. For 2026 our goals for improvement include increasing SEND and Youth provision, extending our reach to more eligible children (% of FSM children booking onto sessions) and improving the overall attendance of the Big Norfolk Holiday Fun programme.
To get started with your application, please ensure you read the updated guidance for Big Norfolk Holiday Fun providers below prior to making your application. Once you have read the guidance and are ready to apply to become a Big Norfolk Holiday Fun provider, please email [email protected] to start your application.
Your account on the Eequ booking platform
As of 2026, all Big Norfolk Holiday Fun activities will be listed on the Eequ booking platform. This provides increased provider visibility, improved functionality in several areas we’ve received feedback in, and automated checks which save a lot of time on admin.
All providers should have a profile on this system, unless specifically pre-agreed with the Big Norfolk Holiday Fun team. You will receive bespoke training and guidance on this platform directly once you’ve signed up to the programme. Please email [email protected] with any questions.
Promotional resources for providers and stakeholders
Big Norfolk Holiday Fun aims to provide positive experience for children and young people across Norfolk. They’ll be given the opportunity to try something new, and meet new people, whilst being given an incentive to get out and about during the holidays.

Join our Bank Staff for Big Norfolk Holiday Fun
The Big Norfolk Holiday Fun programme is Norfolk’s biggest holiday programme for children and young people. With over 130 providers and over 5000 children taking part across the county this summer, the Big Norfolk Holiday Fun programme is as popular as ever!
In our bid to be as inclusive as we can, we are looking for anyone experienced working with children and young people to join us as extra pair of hands supporting our activity providers as and when needed. We are especially keen to hear from anyone who can assist children with an ECHP who need 121 support.
Places will be paid at the rate of the provider who chooses to employ you.
