BRAND NEW: Our Impact Report for 2024-2025 is out now! See what we’ve been working on over the previous year.

Introducing Every Move: Norfolk’s new activity finder

This month, we’re proud to have launched our brand new activity finder, ‘Every Move’.

This standalone website will be Norfolk’s best-in-class directory for activities and events happening around the county. It’s completely free and open to everyone.

What is Every Move?

Every Move is a brand new activity finder, brought to you by Active Norfolk.

Following the launch of our new strategy near the end of 2021, Every Move will play a crucial role in helping us achieve our mission of ‘Getting Norfolk Moving‘.

It will help us do this by providing a range of activities across Norfolk, for all ages and abilities. By providing these opportunities to be physically active, we hope to make physical activity the norm for the people of Norfolk.

I want to get active

What sort of activities are available?

Every Move has something to cater to everyone. No matter your age or ability, you can find activities that interest you.

Despite launching to providers in December, there are already over 350 activities available across Norfolk! These include walking trails and clubs, yoga, Pilates, basketball, rugby, adapted fitness classes, falls prevention classes and much more.

You can use our search bar to filter by the sort of activity you’re interested in and the distance you’re willing to travel. Your next hobby might be right on your doorstep!

I’m an activity provider, how do I sign up?

We’re welcoming all activity providers in Norfolk to list their activities and events for free.

Whether you’re a member of a sports team, a trainer, a fitness instructor or a member of a local walking group, we want to hear about it. Simply visit the website at www.everymove.uk, and click the ‘List Your Activities’ button in the top right hand corner. You’ll then be prompted to make an account (which takes just a few minute) and list some basic details about your activity.

You can make this listing as basic or as detailed as you want. You can also list your contact details so people can get in touch with any questions.

Once you’ve finished, your activity will be live for everyone to see! You can come back at any time to see how many people have taken a look. You’ll be able to share the link, and you might even find yourself promoted on our social media pages! Make sure you’re following Every Move on Facebook or Instagram so you don’t miss this.

I’m looking to get more active myself. How do I start?

Finding an activity near you couldn’t be easier. With Every Move, you simply visit the website and you’ll be guided through the rest.

Whether you’re looking for a solo activity, a regular club or an event, you can use the search bar to select exactly what you want. Every Move operates on a belief that exercise is more than just competitive sport, and that exercise means different things to different people.

With this in mind, we have made sure there is a diverse range of activities to cater to all ages and abilities.

If you’re not sure what you’re after and just want to browse everything, you can enter your location and just see everything available near you!

No sign-up is necessary, and browsing the activities are completely free.

I have a question, can you help?

Of course! If you’ve got questions or are experiencing any issues with the site, you can get in touch with our dedicated Every Move team directly by emailing [email protected] and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

Be sure to also follow Every Move on social media! To keep up with the latest updates and offers, follow us on Facebook and Instagram where we’ll post any updates and will promote activities happening near you.
