We’ve just released our new Impact Report for 2022-23! Take a look here.

Can you support the Big Norfolk Holiday Fun programme?

The Big Norfolk Holiday Fun Programme is a Department for Education funded programme that helps children and young people to be active and healthy over the school holidays.

Norfolk County Council is leading this work locally, with Active Norfolk coordinating the programme. The programme will run for 1 week in Easter, 4 weeks in Summer, and also 1 week over the Christmas holidays.

The Big Norfolk Holiday Fun Programme will give children and young people access to lots of different activities. This will help keep them busy, active and healthy over the holidays. It will be free to all families with children aged 5-16, who are eligible for free school meals. It is a great incentive to provide activity opportunities to children who might not otherwise benefit from it.

We are seeking expressions of intent from organisations, clubs, groups, and venues across Norfolk who can support the Big Norfolk Holiday Fun Summer programme. We are looking for parties who can provide fun, healthy, and enriching activities; provide food and nutritional advice; provide a venue for activities to take place; and much more.

Your support would go a long way in supporting children in being active outside school term time.

If you are able to support in one or more of the ways listed above, let us know. You can find out more and also complete an expression of intent here.
