New guidelines that come into force in England on Wednesday, 13th May mean that many people will be able to exercise outdoors more than once a day.
Restrictions due to the coronavirus pandemic mean that since 23rd March people have only been able to leave the house for a limited number of essential reasons, including to exercise once a day.
People who aren't classed as clinically or extremely vulnerable will now be able to get outdoors as often as they like, as long as they adhere to strict social distancing guidelines and limit contact with those outside their households.
The new rules mean that you can now travel to a different area to exercise, and the Broads Authority has confirmed that its waterways will be open for activities including sailing and canoeing.
However, vulnerable people, and those self-isolating due to symptoms in the household, will need to stay home – and staying active is still just as important for those unable to leave the house.
