Come and Celebrate Being Active in Later Life

A free event in Norwich will help over-55s find out how age needn't be a barrier to staying fit and active.

Norfolk County Council's 'Still Young Enough' roadshow drops in at the Millennium Library on Wednesday, December 11, from 11am to 1pm.

You can find out about the myriad opportunities to stay active in and around the city, from Sportspark's Fitness In Later Life programme to activities including tai chi and boxercise, and get information about walking in the wider county from the Norfolk Trails team.

'Still Young Enough' is a year-long campaign to help the region's older residents stay healthy and happy through being mentally, physically, and socially active.

Moving more can improve your physical and mental health and help protect against illnesses such as diabetes, cancer, and dementia.
