Have Your Say on Bike Share Locations

A new bike-share scheme is coming to Norwich – and you can help decide where bays will be located.

Up to 600 Beryl Bikes will hit the city's streets in spring 2020 as part of a Transport for Norwich project funded through the Government's Transforming Cities programme.

Members of the public, organisations, and businesses are now being invited to fill in an online survey to suggest locations for Beryl Bays where the bikes can be picked up and dropped off.

Suggestions will be used to help plan the network in the city centre and surrounding areas, to ensure bays are in the most convenient and useful locations.

Once the scheme is up and running, people will be able to use the bikes on a pay-as-you-ride basis or by purchasing minutes through the company's app.

It's hoped the project will help people take more everyday journeys by bike instead of driving, boosting their health and wellbeing as well as improving the environment.
