The whole family can discover miles of beautiful footpaths and cycle tracks as Norfolk celebrates its fifth Walking and Cycling Festival this October.
The festival showcases the county's stunning scenery, from wild coastlines to city parks, with a month of free or low-cost walks for all abilities.
Runners and hikers can join the Norfolk Trail Runners for exhilarating routes around north Norfolk's Holt Country Park, Blickling Hall, West Runton, and Cromer beach.
After a more relaxing stroll? Mindfulness walks in Cromer and Norwich's Eaton Park will focus on the importance of activity and nature to improve wellbeing.
Kids will love the rockpooling walk along Sheringham's stunning shoreline, and there are pushchair-friendly routes around Lingwood and Burlingham, just to the east of Norwich.
If you want to get closer to wildlife, don't miss the wader spectacular at RSPB's Snettisham Nature Reserve, and listen out for bats and owls on the North Norfolk Night Safari.
Four-legged friends are welcome at many of the events, with a series of dog-friendly walks planned especially for pooches around Burnham Deepdale in west Norfolk.
And if you're on two wheels, why not head out on a guided cycle ride around the beautiful countryside and coast of Deepdale and Holme?
The Walking and Cycling Festival runs until October 31. Click here for full event listings and to book.
