About Sports Coordinator
This is a unique opportunity to join a family run sports company based within South Yorkshire. The Sports Coordinator will be responsible for delivering a high standard and appropriate range of sporting activities within local schools and communities.
Responsibilities and Duties
->Teaching relevant skills, Tactics and techniques.
>Ability to plan and deliver a range of high quality innovative sports and physical activities for a variety of ages, primarily ages 4-12 years old.
>Able to produce accurate participant feedback and reports on individual achievements and progress such as child assessment and progress data.
>Communicate effectively with all designated schools and staff as an advocate of The Active Club.
>Independently manage their workload, diaries and be responsible for the management of the customers of which they are assigned.
>Working with peers to develop their knowledge of PE.>Assisting with sports promotion/development.
Experience required
>Hold a coaching or equivalent qualification for the delivery of sport and physical activity to children - level 2 or above.
>Have a passion and competencies to work with and motivate children and young people to be physically active.
>Good written and oral communication skills. Experience of using ICT such as Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and have access to email.
>Have experience delivering sports sessions to children and young people.
Key Information -Salary is £12.00-£14.00 p/h (Dependant on experience). 15-18 hours a week initially, with the opportunity to progress to 20 - 25 hours per week
