About School Games Organiser
This is an exciting opportunity to join King Edward VI School with the responsibility for delivering a successful School Games programme across the Bury St Edmunds area. Provisions of this post include opportunities to engage and work across both Primary and Secondary Schools. You will arrange competitions and events in a range of sports and activities, and also significantly contribute to developing a youth workforce via a nationwide Youth Sport Trust project.
The ideal candidate will have a background in Sports Development and/or Coaching and will need to be an excellent communicator, with the ability to inspire and engage students in physical activity. A flexible approach to working, and managing demanding workload is vital.
The contract will run initially from January 2020 to 31 October 2020 as this role is subject to national funding.
