STA Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid Course

The Emergency Paediatric First Aid Award aims to give the candidate knowledge and assess them on their ability to deal with emergency situations, how to recognise and respond to serious medical conditions and serious injuries. It will be particularly valuable for all who are involved with teaching children

STA Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid Course

The course includes training on adult, child and infant resuscitation manikins, the contents of first aid boxes and the recording of accidents and incidents. This course meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage. It is regulated by OFQUAL (Qualification Number: 601/8253/2) The certificate remains valid for three years. Further information, please see the attached Qualification Specification. The course is facilitated through the Swimming Teachers Association.

Cost is £55.00 and will include the assessment fee, manual and refreshments but not lunch. Please apply by Monday 12 May on the attached booking form

Note on Covid-19 Virus. The awarding body have not informed tutors and centres to cancel their courses at the time of writing. However, precautions will be implemented on the course. These will be forwarded with the joining instructions. Candidates will still be expected to inflate the manikins as it stands at the moment.
