“The introduction of sport to Clarion Housing has created a positive atmosphere around the offices and has given the opportunity for building relationships between colleagues as so many people have been getting involved from various departments. I’ve really enjoyed organising and attending sporting events as it has allowed me to socialise with colleagues outside of the working environment, everyone also has a lot of fun and it promotes better health and fitness. This has led to a happier, healthier place to work and are just some of the reasons why we will continue to get people involved in sporting events at Clarion.”

My role at Active Norfolk is to lead on our workplace physical activity programme; supporting organisations in Norfolk to create more active, productive, healthier and happier working environments.

I joined Active Norfolk in 2009, I have previously worked on Sport Unlimited and Sportivate, two Children and Young People programmes, before moving to my current role in September 2014.

Outside of work, I enjoy walking in the countryside, playing badminton, reading and when the budget allows a bit of overseas travel!
