I have been a Zumba Instructor for over five years and also have my level 2 Exercise to Music qualification. I'm a huge believer that there is some form of exercise out there for everyone and Zumba is known as 'exercise in disguise'. 20 years ago saw the birth of this international Latin inspired fitness programme and it's still going strong. Classes are inclusive and everyone is welcome, we say in class there are no right or wrong moves only accidental solos! Class is like a party and I encourage a sense of community between my students, it's actually much more than just a fitness session.

Over the past five years, with the support of my students we have not only kept fit but also raised thousands of pounds for local charities, plus I have organised six Breast Cancer Awareness Flash Mobs. Earlier this year I was awarded South Norfolk Council's Charity Fund Raiser of the Year which was a huge honour.

I am looking forward to promoting This Girl Can In Norfolk initiative because this is exactly the ethos of Zumba.
