Safeguarding & Protecting Children

The safety and welfare of young people is of paramount importance to parents, and is a priority for Active Norfolk. Active Norfolk takes a proactive approach to the implementation of policies and procedures relating to the safeguarding and protection of children and young people in sport.

We also acknowledge the importance of education and training of all individuals in working with this group. As a result of this we regularly provide for staff, coaches and volunteers, courses with specific emphasis on safeguarding young people.

Attached is the Active Norfolk Child Protection Policy, which you may download. This may be used with guidance to develop a Child Protection Policy for your club.
