Borough Council of King's Lynn & West Norfolk

The Borough Council Sports Development Unit works in partnership with various agencies to co-ordinate opportunities for people to take part in sport, as well as to promote the health benefits of an active lifestyle.

We not only provide information for facility based activities but community based activities as well. The Unit can provide information on local clubs, coach education and training along with advice and encouragement for local organisations to promote sport in their communities.

Quest is the UK Quality Scheme for Sport and Leisure and has been developed to help sport and leisure organisations improve the quality of the services they offer through continous improvement. In 2001 we were awarded with Quest recognition which was retained in 2003 and 2005 with an improved score following each assessment.
