Torch Trophy Trust Bursaries

The Torch Trophy Trust is a charitable organisation, whose main aim is to encourage voluntary work in sport and other related outdoor activities within local communities.

It not only presents awards, but is also actively engaged in encouraging and helping voluntary workers at club level. The Trust operates a bursary scheme, called the Torch Trophy Trust Bursaries.

The Torch Trophy Trust is providing bursaries to sports volunteers, including those involved in youth sport or sport for the disabled.

A Bursary is awarded to enable individuals or groups to enhance their skills as coaches or officials and knowledge in order to assist their club, organisation or community to develop their chosen sport, by:

• Providing funding for volunteers.
• Encouraging and helping voluntary workers at club level.
• Making grants of up to £1000 available to individuals or groups.
• Developing talent, increasing knowledge and improving skills.
• Supporting grass roots sport and recreation.
