East-links: Leading the Field - Coach Bursary

Active Norfolk is a delivery partner in East–links: Leading the Field – an innovative project designed to help up skill the sport and active leisure workforce ahead of the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

East-links: Leading the Field has been allocated £1.3 million in funding by the European Social Fund, via the Learning and Skills Council, to take advantage of the enthusiasm surrounding London 2012 and the numerous volunteering and employment opportunities it will bring to the entire country. The project will run from 1 April 2009 until 31 December 2010.

The project will pay for more than 750 coaching qualifications, 200 officiating qualifications, 100 health and fitness qualifications, 100 qualifications relating to facility operation and 100 community development qualifications across the east region.

If you need funding to help gain a coaching qualification, or any of the other qualifications mentioned above, simply complete the online expression of interest form. Once you have completed the form we will respond within 2 weeks in order to discuss your eligibility and progress your application.
