Great Yarmouth Borough Council
Coaching Grants
Grants of up to £100 are available for residents of the Borough to help them to attend coaching courses.
Grants, of the same value, are also available to assist clubs to host coaching courses.
Active Participation Grant
This funding pot comes from the Great Yarmouth Sports Partnership.
The fund will support clubs/organisations to purchase equipment to support club activity, or specific projects to encourage new recruitment and active participation in sport.
Grants of up to £100 are available to clubs.

Norwich City Council
Community Cash - Red Nose Day
A new funding incentive that has just been announced. Community cash - Red Nose Day have teamed together with Norwich Evening news and the Norfolk Community Foundation to give away a total of £50,000 of funding.
Sports clubs, children's groups, churches and theatre companies are eligible for grants of between £500 to £1,000.
To qualify for this funding groups must be within the Norwich City Council local authority, work in a disadvantaged or deprived area of Norwich and have an income less than £100,000.
Grants will NOT be awarded to:
- Individuals
- Statutory organisations,
- Groups which are not constituted
- For funding trips abroad
- Funding transport (unless it forms part of a project)
- To fund building costs
- And any groups already in receipt of Comic relief Funding
This is a great opportunity for Norwich clubs.

South Norfolk District Council
Community Sports Fund
Their Community Sports Fund helps young people who live in South Norfolk to excel in their chosen sporting activity and provides support to voluntary coaches.
They offer grants through 3 schemes:
- The Community Sport Achiever Award
- Community Coach Development Bursary scheme
- Elite Athlete Fitness Support Scheme
