Are there walks in your day that you could turn into exercise? A brisk walk to pick up the kids from school, walk the dog, or go from the bus to your workplace are all ways to incorporate a few extra minutes of exercise into your day.
Public Health England is launching a new physical activity campaign called Active 10 (under the banner of One You). The campaign features a new app that people can download to their smartphone, encouraging them to fit bouts of 10 minute 'brisk' walks into their normal day.

Just 10 minutes of brisk walking every day can benefit your health, improve the way you feel and reduce the risk of a number of long-term conditions such as heart disease and type 2 diabetes.
