Posted: Mon, 03 Jul 2017 15:44
A programme of health walks from doctors' surgeries was launched on July 3 from the Newtown surgery. The programme will be offering short walks for inactive people starting from the Newtown and Caister surgeries. Newly trained and prospective walk leaders took part on the first walk. The programme will begin officially in August with walks at 10:30am on the second Monday of the month from Caister and the fourth Friday of the month from Newtown.
Walks are a mile or less and are on hard and even surfaces so everyone can come along. Walks are free and offer an opportunity for a bit of exercise and social engagement. For more information please contact Mel Brown at Active Norfolk on 07766259999 or mel.brown@activenorfolk .org.
Dates of future walks will be:
Caister – Mondays
Newtown - Fridays
