Saturday 6 May 2017 saw the official re opening of Eagle Canoe Centre following the demolition of dilapidated porta-cabins and the building of a new, purpose built training centre with classroom, changing rooms and storage.
The centre is the home of the Norwich Eagle Canoe Club, which offers a wide range of paddling opportunities for all age groups and abilities and operates throughout the year, providing tuition on club nights together with swimming pool sessions, day trips and week end trips. The club is also has a number of youth groups affiliated to the club including the scouts and sea cadets and is developing training courses and coach development with these organisations.
The improved facilities are also available to other community groups to use - contact Stuart Pontin on firstname.lastname@example.org to inquire.
