Norfolk radio presenters pledge to get healthy in 2012
03 April 2012The people of Norfolk are being inspired to get active over the radio waves with Active Norfolk's campaign with Tindle radio. You may have heard presenters from North Norfolk Radio, Radio Norwich and Beach talk about their experiences as they try out a different sport every week for eight weeks.
Active Norfolk's campaign seeks to highlight that there is a sport out there for everyone. It is easy to have a go at a new sport - whether you sign up to a taster session at your local club or book onto a short course to try it out. Active Norfolk want to get as many people as possible to make a pledge on www.pledge2012.com to say what they are doing to get more active this year.
Dick Hutchinson North Norfolk Radio, Tim Lindon from Beach and Steve from Radio Norwich have made their own sporting pledges to try out a different activity each week.
Sports tried so far include scuba diving, golf, hockey, tennis and skiing - check out the slideshow below to see how they got on.
