Norfolk Golf Week 9 - 15th April 2012
10 April 2012
Have you been inspired by Bubba Watson's fantastic win at the Masters at Augusta? The Norfolk County Golf Partnership supported by Active Norfolk is co-ordinating a programme of FREE golf activities and tasters for anyone who would like to try golf.
Norfolk Get into Golf Week is taking place this week 9th to 15th April 2012 right across the county. Find a session near you!
There will be over 50 FREE taster sessions organised at golf clubs / facilities offering a variety of opportunities for people to have a go at golf. The tasters, which will include sessions for women, couples, families and open days, will be led by qualified PGA golf coaches and are ideal for anyone who has thought about trying golf. Following the week there will be a number of additional opportunities available for participants to sign up to and keep having a go.
George Webster said, “Norfolk Get Into Golf week has been organised to provide those who are new to golf and want to give it a try the opportunity to access a wide range of tasters and activities throughout the County. The aim of the week is to get as many people as possible having a go at participating golf clubs and facilities. Even if you have never picked up a club before, Norfolk Get Into Golf Week is all about providing the access to FREE opportunities to try the sport in a fun and relaxed environment.”
