Connie began fencing at the age of 60, after attending a 'come and try day' hosted by Norwich City Council.
She has competed at events across the globe, winning more than 100 medals in her storied career.
"I had said that I'd give up once I'd won 100 medals or was 100 years old. Well, I've now won over 100 medals so I guess it was just talk. I love the sport and I'll keep going as long as I can" Connie said.
In 2011, she earned a bronze medal at the Veterans World Championship, and was selected to carry the Olympic torch in the run up to the 2012 Olympic Games.
