This course is for anyone involved in the delivery of sport, from coaches and referees to club chairman and caterers. Learn the very latest techniques by qualified and experienced trainers. An enjoyable and practical course which explores the role of the First Aider and covers all the common injuries such as sprains and strains, as well as what to do in the event of something more serious occurring. The minimum age to attend this course is 16 years.

This workshop forms part of of CPD for Run Leaders and will be delivered by Mary Skelcher.
Mary is a Nutritional Therapist, Personal Trainer and GB Age-Group triathlete. This workshop will look to help leaders provide and support their runners & athletes with nutritional advice.

Holders of the Lifesaving – Safety Award for Teachers are capable in pool rescue, first aid, adult, child and infant CPR techniques and competent to deal with poolside emergencies in accordance with The HSE Publication Managing Health and Safety in Swimming Pools and British Standard BS EN 15288 Part 2, Safety Requirements for Operations.
