Cyclist Bryan Steele

Bryan Steel is a dedicated individual whose professional, committed, enthusiastic approach to being a World Class athlete led to Olympic and World medal winning success. Since his retirement from sport six years ago, he has worked with various organisations including Sport England, The Youth Sport Trust, Dame Kelly Holmes Legacy Trust and DARE UK to deliver, design and manage mentoring schemes.

Bryan's motivational talks ranging from schools to the corporate environment about his life in sport and how sport changed his negative life into a very successful one.
Over the last two year Bryan has developed his own business called THE OLYMPIC MINDSET designing and delivering programs for education, sport and business. To develop an environment which inspires and motivates people into more positive activities, which will maximise their true talents.

Thank you so much for speaking at our awards evening and I am glad you enjoyed it. Your talk was exactly what we were looking for and thank you again for hanging around afterwards and letting the pupils see and try on your Olympic medals.

The children left thoroughly inspired I was even teaching a careers lesson the next day and a couple of the pupils that were there put their hands up and said that they wanted to become cyclists and win at the Olympics.
